Natura Atelier
Handcrafted bags for EU markets
Natura Atelier makes bags and accessories from organic cotton. We built a Shopify store with storytelling and a multi-currency checkout for 14+ EU countries. Natura Atelier (naturaatelier.com) is a premium textile studio that makes bags and accessories from 100% cotton. The range includes cake and pie bags, 2- and 4-bottle wine bags, cooler bags, cosmetic bags and reversible tissue box covers. Products come in prints such as Toile de Jouy, Vintage Strawberries and Lemons. The brand is committed to ethical production and supplier transparency.
- Craftsmanship that needs telling. The product's value lies not only in the bag but in how it's made. The store had to convey ethical production and the origin of materials without overwhelming customers with text. The story should support the purchase, not delay it.
- Selling to many EU markets. The brand targets customers in many EU countries. Each of them wants to see the price in their own currency and know the shipping terms. An unclear delivery cost at the final step is one of the main reasons for cart abandonment.
- Price structure. Products cost from PLN 129 to 280, depending on the type. Prices must be consistent across currencies and easy to compare.
- Many print variants. The same model comes in several prints. Customers need to see each variant before deciding. For a product bought with the eyes, a photo of the print matters more than the description.
- A product for gifting. Wine and cake bags are often bought as gifts. The store should make that easy, for example with gift wrapping available at checkout.
- Shopify for international sales. We chose Shopify because it handles multiple currencies and markets well in a single store. The brand doesn't have to maintain separate versions for each country.
- Craft storytelling. We built a narrative about how the products are made and where the materials come from. The brand story supports the decision to buy a higher-end product. The narrative appears where customers make decisions, not just on a separate page.
- Supplier transparency. Information about the supply chain is part of the communication. Eco-conscious customers want to know what they're buying. Specific information about materials builds more trust than generic eco slogans.
- Multi-currency checkout. We set up sales in EUR, PLN and other currencies. Customers pay in a currency they know, which reduces the risk of cart abandonment.
- A well-thought-out price structure. We set prices so they're consistent across currencies. Customers in different countries see predictable amounts. The brand doesn't have to recalculate the price list by hand with every change.
- Selling to 14+ EU countries. We set up shipping to more than 14 EU countries. From launch, the store's reach extends beyond Poland.
- Gift wrapping. Customers can order a product gift-wrapped. That makes it easier to buy wine or cake bags as a present.
- Print variants. Each model comes in several prints, such as Toile de Jouy, Vintage Strawberries and Lemons. Customers switch between variants on the product page.
What we built it with.
Brand and market analysis
We got to know the products, the prints and the brand story. We determined which EU markets the store should sell to and in which currencies.
Storytelling and content
We prepared the structure of the story about craftsmanship, ethical production and suppliers. We decided where the story appears on the site: on the homepage, with the collections and with the products.
Shopify setup
We built the catalog with print variants. We configured currencies, prices and the checkout.
International shipping
We set up sales to 14+ EU countries. We tested the purchase process in different currencies, including the amount shown at the final payment step.
Testing and launch
We tested the path from the homepage through choosing a print to payment. The store launched as a D2C channel for EU markets.

Want to sell handmade products across Europe?
We'll help you build a store with a brand story and a multi-currency checkout. If you sell a handcrafted product, the story of how it's made is part of its value. Show it next to your products instead of hiding it in an "About us" tab that few customers visit. When planning international sales, start with currencies and shipping, because they are what most often stops customers before paying. Shopify lets you serve many markets from one store, without building separate versions.
